Image Loading

There are times when i would like to use images and turn them into spirals ect, is there plans to add an image loader at some point. Im guessing it is probably quite a hard feature to add as the programs code based but i have a quick idea, add another menu item called Images then have the option to load say 4 images and then these get commands in the code so if you then type something like "Load Image 01" it will draw the image. I noticed that some people draw there own images by positioning loads of squares but it is really hard for me to work this way and takes a long time so a feature like this would make things alot simpler.
